Nandhini (MSc Business Analytics and Big Data), who participated in the ULMS ExECS programme as part of the Class of 2023, shares her experience with those considering joining the programme next year.

Why did you choose to take part in the ULMS ExECS programme alongside your studies?

I recognized the immense value it offered in honing my career and employability skills, fostering personal development, and building a diverse network of connections. Engaging in these extracurricular activities complemented my academic journey, enhancing my overall university experience and preparing me for future challenges.

What has been your favourite part of the experience?

My favourite part of the experience was the opportunity to engage in a wide array of social and cultural activities, fostering new friendships and gaining a broader perspective on the world, all while developing crucial skills that will benefit me both personally and professionally. The best part was being a Student Advocate representing the University and being a Course Representative, representing my course on several occasions.

How do you think you will take forward what you have learned from the programme into your career?

I am confident that the skills and knowledge acquired through the ULMS ExECS programme will significantly enhance my career prospects, enabling me to approach challenges with a more holistic and socially responsible mindset, while leveraging a diverse network of connections to thrive in a competitive professional environment.
