Strategic partners and initiatives

We have several treasured partners who form part of our trusted network across the world. It's with these global partners that we carry out important collaborative work, standing side by side to allow us to further our reach and impact across the globe.

Working with these partners, we continue to be able to achieve fantastic things as a university. This includes delivering research results that produce insightful solutions that improve health, ensure social justice and combat climate change, allowing us to truly make a difference to the world we live in.

Throughout our nearly 150-year history, we’ve built vital relationships with businesses and public organisations both in the Liverpool City Region and internationally. This allows us to pursue global cross-sector partnerships that have a sizeable impact. Establishing new networks allows us to collaborate with our partners, leveraging common strengths so we can address shared challenges and priorities that help people everywhere.

We’re always looking to extend the scope and impact of the valued partnerships we have, too. With a global mindset embedded across the University, our ongoing goal is to establish and support new aspirations for international engagement throughout the years ahead.
