Our MBA students are ambitious and seek advancement and success in their professional lives. We recognise that an MBA is a significant investment and that our students want to see a return on that investment by realising their career aspirations.
We share that aspiration and provide the tools and resources that enable you to leverage your learning effectively and reach your careers goals.
The Career and Professional Development Programme is designed with the end in mind, with a clear purpose - to enrich the MBA journey by challenging your thinking about your professional, career and leadership development.
Active participation in the programme deepens awareness of yourself, your strengths, motivations and aspirations, and enables you to confidently articulate and leverage the MBA to attain impact and influence in your career.

Support from business and alumni
We have strong links with local and national businesses as well as our MBA alumni community so there are plenty of opportunities to network and build upon the curriculum-based activities and international trips.
Our Sector Insights Series draws from experts from Finance, Consultancy, FMCG, FinTech, Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. We also get out and about in the Liverpool City Region, the wider UK and internationally for immersive experiences seeing industry and culture up close, and offer consultancy to businesses and start-ups to help them thrive.
A fantastic, often under-utilised, resource that helped me to direct the next stage of my career, understand the job market and improve my applications.
