Knowledge Exchange Framework

The Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) provides information about the different ways universities collaborate with external partners, from businesses to community groups, for the benefit of the economy and society.

Led by Research England, the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of public funding for knowledge exchange (KE) and to further a culture of continuous improvement in universities. It allows universities to better understand and improve their own performance through a metrics-driven assessment framework. The University of Liverpool continues to maintain strong results in KEF, highlighting our commitment to collaboration and creating lasting impact with global reach.
