Everton Women executive announced as third panellist for ‘Gender Equality in Football Leadership’ Business Breakfast

The Centre for Sports Business is delighted to reveal that Everton FC’s Director of Women’s Football Operations Catherine Wright is the third member of our panel for this March’s Business Breakfast event.

Catherine has worked in several executive roles since joining Everton in 2018, including heading up the business improvement and operational governance departments, and became director of governance before moving to her current position in 2024.

A graduate of Lancaster University, Catherine’s qualified as a chartered accountant in 2011 and has over a decade’s experience of working in governance. She has played a key role in overseeing Everton Women’s move to Goodison Park.

Catherine joins Sarah Guilfoyle and Lisa Hoten-Pool on the panel, who will discuss the theme of gender equality in football leadership with the Director of the Centre for Sports Business, Professor Geoff Walters.

The event will take place on Tuesday 3 March in the lead-up to International Women’s Day and is delivered in partnership with O’Connors and Bruntwood SciTech.

Starting at 9am, this insightful session is free to attend and will comprise of refreshments and networking followed by the panel discussion and audience Q&A.
