Political governance and the reshaping of the sports industry
The Centre for Sports Business (CSpB) is delighted to bring the Political Studies Association’s annual Sport and Politics conference to the University of Liverpool Management School for the first time.
The conference will focus on the role of government in influencing and shaping the evolving nature of the sports industry, and seeks to better understand the interplay and changing dynamics between sport and politics.
In addition to providing a valuable opportunity to attend panel discussions and learn from current research, the conference will offer opportunities to network with scholars and practitioners working in the field of sport and politics.
All delegates are invited to an informal social gathering at Liverpool Arts Bar, Hope St, on Wednesday 3 June from 7pm.
Keynote speakers
The conference will be hosted by CSpB Director, Professor Geoff Walters, with several keynote speakers to be announced over the coming weeks.
