Product Management Analyst
Prior to starting the MSc course I had completed my BSc in Chemistry at the University of Sheffield.
I was attracted to the Management School due to the accreditation of the school and the broad coverage of business topics in the course. Also, having lived locally for many years I knew that Liverpool was a vibrant and welcoming city.
I received a scholarship as I achieved first-class honours in my undergraduate degree. After the completion of my MSc, I also received the 'Student of the Year' award for achieving the highest mark on the course.
My postgraduate study at the university was a challenging yet worthwhile experience. Despite the fact that I completed my undergraduate degree at a different university and in a completely different subject area (chemistry), I found I quickly adapted to the city of Liverpool and the change of subject was refreshing.
I currently work at Lanxess, a speciality chemicals company, as a 'Product Management Analyst'. The broad exposure of the course equipped me to work with and understand different business functions - without completing the MSc I wouldn't have the knowledge to do my current job.
