FAQs
Frequently asked questions about the Warp It platform.
I'm unable to log into Warp It. What do I do?
Please try using a different web browser in the first instance and ensure you're visiting www.warp-it.co.uk/liverpool. You should then be able to log in using your University email and password.
If you're still experiencing problems logging in, please raise a ticket with IT Services, as they manage the University's single sign on (SSO) process.
Can I list items from home on Warp It?
No. Unfortunately, Warp It is only for internal reuse of University equipment, furniture and consumables.
If you have personal items that could be given a second life, you can use www.recyclenow.com to find out about donation and recycling points near you.
Can I claim items from Warp It for home or personal use?
No. Unfortunately, Warp It is only for internal reuse of University equipment, furniture and consumables.
The exception to this is items required to support working from home. It is expected that these will be returned to the University as and when your employment comes to an end.
I've claimed an item. What do I do now?
If you have claimed an item from the University's Central Store, please submit a Heavy gang Request via PlanOn. Alternatively, you may ask your Building Manager to do this on your behalf.
If you have claimed an item from another colleague, please contact them to arrange a suitable time and date for collection. For smaller items, such as laptop risers and computer keyboard, you may wish to collect these yourself. For larger, bulky and heavy items, or any items you feel uncomfortable lifting and transporting yourself, please submit a heavy gang request via PlanOn, quoting your WarpIt 'Item Ref/s'.
