Strategy and performance

To ensure we are delivering our sustainability goals we have robust governance in place, regularly measure our performance, and publish reports on our progress.

Supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. In January 2020 the University formalised its commitment to the UN SDGs by signing the global higher education sector’s SDG Accord in partnership with the Liverpool Guild of Students. In signing the SDG Accord, the University has pledged to put the SDGs at the heart of all of its activities.
