Get involved

We are building a community of sustainability advocates and want you to be a part of it. Together we can build a more sustainable future.

Staff and students, join in with our campaigns and events, volunteering roles and development opportunities which shape sustainability across the University. Organisations and individuals, partner with us to share knowledge and address global sustainability concerns.

Sustainability at the University of Liverpool

The University of Liverpool is actively taking steps to look at its impact on climate change and wider sustainable development. We are a SDG Accord signatory, have developed an ambitious Sustainability Strategy and new Climate plan, and earlier this year hosted our first ever Sustainability Week, where we spoke to colleagues from across the University and Guild of Students to share some of our key commitments and how you can get involved.

Partners

Getting to net zero for all institutions, cities, and countries, is an enormous challenge. Being a responsible civic institution depends on being a good partner and put simply, we do not have all the answers to addressing the enormous challenges set out in the UN SDGs. If you share our ambitions, have ideas, or want to explore a partnership, we want to hear from you!
