MSc Sport Business Management alumnus Guglielmo, who graduated from University of Liverpool Management School last December, played a pivotal role in the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, presenting to over 700 volunteers and overseeing operations at key Olympic locations, including the Milan cauldron at Arco della Pace.
Guglielmo’s contribution spanned multiple high-profile events, from the Opening Ceremony to backstage operations at the Arena di Verona and culminated with supporting the Paralympic Finals at the Milano Hockey Arena, where a record-breaking 11,500 spectators witnessed the thrilling action. His work required meticulous planning, coordination, and problem-solving across teams, showcasing the professional skills honed during his MSc studies.
Reflecting on the experience, Guglielmo shared:
