Enactus Liverpool has secured a place among the Top 20 in the Enactus UK & Ireland National Pitch Competition. The next stage of the competition is the NextGen Takeover 2026 (formerly the Enactus UK & Ireland Expo). The team have an opportunity to go on to represent the UK & Ireland at the Enactus World Cup Qualifier, competing on a global stage in Brazil.
Competing against more than 60 universities and over 230 projects, the team stood out for the strength and impact of their initiatives. Their projects, Breaking Barriers and Project Ruby, focus on tackling social inequality and supporting communities through sustainable, entrepreneurial solutions.
Enactus Liverpool is made up of students studying a range of programmes including Business Management, International Management, Marketing and Accounting and Finance.
Alan Liyu, second year BSc Accounting and Finance with a Year in Industry student and Finance Director of Enactus Liverpool, commented on the continued success of the team:
"We are absolutely delighted to have been named among the Top 20 teams in the UK and Ireland again. Competing alongside so many talented teams was incredibly inspiring, and it’s a testament to the passion and dedication of everyone involved in Enactus Liverpool."
