Undergraduate Economics students attended Mock Assessment Centre with Audit Wales and CV from an Investment Banker session with Lazard, a global name in financial services.
The Mock Assessment Centre enabled students to gain experience working under pressure and insight into current assessment centre practice.
The ‘CV from an Investment Banker’ session offered practical guidance on crafting strong, competitive applications and understanding what recruiters are looking for in the investment banking industry.
BA Business Economics alumna Hattie Norman returned to campus for this session, reflecting on her own journey and offering insight and advice to students. During her studies, Hattie spent a Year in Industry with Lazard and after graduating with a First Class Degree, is now working full time as an Investment Banking Analyst with Lazard.
These events provided valuable industry insight, reinforcing the department’s commitment to supporting students in securing successful graduate opportunities.
