Undergraduate programmes celebrate Complete University Guide 2026 results

The 2026 Complete University Guide (CUG) undergraduate league tables results are in, with lots to celebrate for our Undergraduate Management School programmes.

At subject-level, league table positions are determined by factors related to entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality, continuation and graduate prospects.

Highlights for CUG 2026 include:

Marketing

Our BA Marketing programme continues to go from strength-to-strength with an overall ranking of 2nd in the Russell Group (a rise of 2 places) and 3rd in the sector (a rise of 2 places). Our programme also:

  • Maintains a 2nd place in the Russell Group for student satisfaction, also rising 5 places in its sector ranking for this area.

Accounting and Finance

Our BSc Accounting and Finance programme has an overall ranking of 8th in the Russell Group (a rise of 5 places) and 13th in the sector (a rise of 5 places).

  • Accounting and Finance maintains its 2nd place ranking in the Russell Group for student satisfaction and has risen 5 places to 9th in the sector for this area
  • Research quality for Accounting and Finance has maintained its position of 8th in the Russell Group and 12th in the sector.

Business and Management

Our BA Business Management and BA International Management programmes are now ranking 13th in the Russell Group (a rise of 2 places) and 18th in the sector (a rise of 2 places).

  • Our Business and Management programmes have maintained a ranking of 3rd in the Russell Group for student satisfaction.

Economics

Our BSc Economics and BA Business Economics programmes maintained the same results as last year, staying at 19th in the Russell Group and 24th in the sector.

  • Our Economics programmes are ranked 2nd in the Russell Group for student satisfaction
  • These programmes have also maintained research quality rankings, 14th in the sector and 12th in the Russell Group.

A huge amount of work goes into achieving these results, with the 2026 rankings highlighting the commitment from staff across the Management School to its students.
