International travel

There is still significant international travel disruption as a result of the conflict in the Middle East. This is affecting travel to and from the Middle East, but also travel where the journey crosses airspace over the Middle East or involves a transfer at Middle Eastern airports.

Travel to, from and through the region is likely to remain at risk for some weeks to come. Students who are able to get flights should be aware that they may risk being unable to return to the UK should the situation continue or escalate. Please remember that you are expected to be on campus in the UK for all teaching and assessment, which continues after the spring break period.

Please consider this advice carefully when making plans. If you have any queries, please discuss them with your School Office. If you do decide to travel or are already overseas and cannot return to the UK due to the conflict, please email gulfdisruption@liverpool.ac.uk.
