Welcome to the Management School

Your master's journey with the Management School is about to begin

Congratulations on securing your place on one of our master’s programmes!

I look forward to welcoming you to campus in September. In the meantime, I’d like to share some advice to help you prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

If you are moving to Liverpool for the first time, or want to see what life is like on campus, then take a moment to explore the University’s Settling in pages, which include virtual tours of campus and the city as well as information about our sports facilities, libraries and support services.

Once you arrive, I would encourage you to get involved in the wider postgraduate community during your time at the School. From Monday 21 to Friday 25 September, we have a packed week of talks, activities and socials taking place as part of Welcome Week where you can meet your Director of Studies, your coursemates and the wider Management School staff. Download the timetable* to find out more (uploaded Thursday 13 August). *Timetables are subject to change so please keep checking back for updates.

Alongside the many societies offered by the University’s Guild of Students, the Management School provides many extra-curricular activities such as the Enhance Programme, run by our dedicated Careers Support team. These are all excellent ways to not only develop skills outside of your core studies but also to meet new people from other programmes across the School and the wider University.

Liverpool is a welcoming and inspiring city; take time to explore, make new friends, and above all, embrace this life-changing experience!
