The University of Liverpool Management School congratulates Professor Abderrahim Taamouti on his appointment to the Economics panel of the Academic Journal Guide (AJG) Scientific Committee for the 2027 edition by the Chartered Association of Business Schools.
Abderrahim joins a distinguished panel of academic experts who contribute to the development and refinement of the AJG, a widely recognised resource that provides details on a broad range of journals across disciplines central to Business and Management studies.
The Guide supports academics in identifying appropriate and high-quality outlets for their research.
The Scientific Committee plays a vital role in advising the AJG Editorial team on the selection of journals to be included in the Guide, as well as the grades assigned to them.
Its work helps ensure that the AJG remains a rigorous and trusted benchmark for research quality and impact across the academic community.
“I am very delighted to join the AJG Scientific Committee and contribute to the development of the 2027 guide,” Abderrahim said.
“I look forward to working with colleagues to support rigorous, transparent, and impactful research in economics, econometrics and statistics.”
Alongside being a professor and Chair in Applied Econometrics, Abderrahim is Professor of Econometrics and Director of the Liverpool Advanced Methods for Big Data Analytics (LAMBDA) Research Centre at the University of Liverpool Management School.
He has an extensive research profile, with publications in leading international journals spanning econometrics, finance, and statistics.
