333 new student doctors!
As the School welcomes 333 new student doctors to start their medical careers in Liverpool, the MBChB Admissions team would like to say a big thank you to all the wonderful students who have enthusiastically helped us throughout the academic year in delivery of a number of high-quality and well-received recruitment events.
The events included our Taster Days and outreach events, Open Days, Multiple Mini Interviews and our Applicant Discovery Days.
With the help of all our student volunteers, in 2019, we also celebrated the completion of our Journey to Medicine, an outreach journey, aimed at widening participation, which provides targeted support for aspiring medics in the local area (school years 9 to 13).
The feedback and evaluation of all the events remains excellent and to know that our students are so highly respected and appreciated by the attendees of these events is something that our School celebrates.
Just this past week the Admissions team received over 3000 applications for the School of Medicine’s programmes, this great outcome would not have been achieved without your support.

Introducing IntoUniversity
We are excited to continue development of our own School events in the next academic year and in the spring of 2020 will be supporting IntoUniversity with a new joint initiative.
IntoUniversity is an award winning education charity, which provides local learning centres where students from disadvantaged backgrounds are inspired to achieve.
