Introducing IntoUniversity

Published on

IntoUniversity is an award winning education charity, which provides local learning centres where students from disadvantaged backgrounds are inspired to achieve.

Providing long-term academic support, motivation and encouragement to give young people a fair chance of realising their full potential, IntoUniversity North Liverpool is an official partner of the University of Liverpool and the LFC Foundation.

IntoUniversity are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to support students at their learning centre in North Liverpool.

University Mentoring

The IntoUniversity Mentoring Scheme works with young people aged 10-17 from some of the UK’s most deprived areas, supporting them to raise their aspirations and achieve their potential.

As a Mentor, you would support us with this aim and help to ensure that the background young people are born into doesn’t affect their life chances.

Academic Support Tutors

All IntoUniversity Mentees are committed attenders of our weekly after school Academic Support programme.

As an Academic Support Tutor, you would support students as they participate in our interactive university-focused curriculum (Primary) or complete homework, revision or other projects (Secondary).
