Alumni stories

It is always fascinating to hear where their medical careers have taken our graduates. These are often shared through our biannual School of Medicine Alumni newsletter (link) and on our School news page (link).

Head to our Alumni Stories page (link) to browse through our collection of inspirational tales from graduates. Contact mednews@liverpool.ac.uk if you would like to share yours!

Teaching opportunities

During your time as a student at Liverpool, did you know many of the staff you have worked with over the years were Liverpool alumni?

We would love you to consider returning to your School of Medicine family to help us teach the next generation of doctors. Go to Teach with us (link).

Volunteering opportunities

There are loads of ways you can get involved and support the MBChB programme as a volunteer. These are routinely updated on our Liverpool Educators Online (LEO) web area (link).

Become an examiner

Our Clinical Skills team are always looking to build their pool of examiners to assess students’ clinical competence in practical assessments.

If you’re a doctor or healthcare professional and would like to become an examiner, please register your interest via the Liverpool OSCE Examiners webpage (link).

Interview prospective students

Each year, interviews are held to select students for entry to our programme from around 4000 applicants. The process wouldn't be possible without the support of those with relevant experience of healthcare medical volunteering a few hours of their time.

If you are interested in joining our team of interviewers, learn more on our Admissions Interviews page (link).
