Rugby Memorial Match

Published on

The annual memorial match between alumni and current students, in honour of Dr Chris Wragg, was a success once again – with the students taking home the trophy at the end of the day.

The match was started with a ceremonial kick-off by Chris Wragg’s grandson, George aged 8. The standard of the rugby was high, but after a fairly even first 50 minutes, the student team ran away with the game with a final score of 44 – 17.

Thank you to you all for supporting and attending the Annual Chris Wragg Rugby Match, particularly Sue Wragg and family.

The Chris Wragg Cup was presented by George Wragg, on behalf of Sue Wragg, to the Liverpool Medical Students’ Captain, Harry Lobb. Congratulations. See you all next year - first week in May, 2020. (Date for the diaries please!)
