Career Supporting Logbook

The new feature on your e-portfolio - celebrate your achievements of excellence; record evidence of clinical activity which demonstrates your commitment to a chosen career pathway, and mark extra-curricular opportunities relevant to your future career.

We are very pleased to announce the official launch of the Career Supporting Logbook. This area of the portfolio was specifically developed in response to student feedback, offering an area of your e-portfolio in which to record and celebrate:

  • Achievements of excellence;
  • Evidence of clinical activity which demonstrates your commitment to a chosen career pathway;
  • Attendance at clinical events, and extra-curricular opportunities relevant to your future career.

The Career Supporting Logbook is now available in your E-portfolio in the Resources section.

The logbook will enable you to collate clinical experiences relevant to your chosen career path into one place. You can use any experiences that you have attached elsewhere in your e-portfolio, but items in your career logbook are not intended to be reviewed by your Educational supervisor.

They are to help you gather materials for future career applications. Your AA may discuss your career logbook with you periodically. Items that you add to this logbook should complement what you use elsewhere to demonstrate your course competencies, which should continue to be placed in the main part of the portfolio.

If you have any queries on the information above or you are having difficulties accessing the logbook, please contact the E-portfolio helpdesk: eportfolio.mbchb@liverpool.ac.uk, or contact the Technology Enhanced Learning office: 0151 795 4372
