We are looking for ten student doctors who are excited about the prospect of being part of a new initiative, to promote research - open to all years including intercalating students.

The School of Medicine has been successful in gaining a competitive INSPIRE award from the Academy of medical sciences. INSPIRE is designed to engage medical, dental and veterinary undergraduates with research.

Applications are now open for ten student doctors from across all years to help promote and support undergraduate student research in the School of Medicine, for academic year 2019/20.

The new Student Research Advocates will be the student leads on the new INSPIRE committee, working with School and NHS staff, with the aim of promoting research understanding and opportunities within the School of medicine.

These activities will be led by a staff student based group, the INSPIRE committee, whose aim is to promote research understanding and opportunities within our School.

We want students from all years who are excited about the prospect of being part of a new initiative, to promote research. We are also specifically looking for two currently intercalating students.

The closing date is Tuesday 23 September, 4.00pm.

Please email your applications to Russell Smith: intercal.mbchb@liverpool.ac.uk with INSPIRE Student research advocates in the title.
