Course Rep of the Year!
Year 2 Student Doctor Anthony has made us all proud by winning the Course Rep of the Year Award for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
Described as a passionate, enthusiastic and diligent advocate for his cohort, we're so glad that Anthony's efforts have been recognised!
Anthony told us of his win:
"I was over the moon to receive the nomination for the award and was even more surprised to have won.
It’s great to feel that the effort I have put in this year has been recognised by the students and staff.
Being a Course Rep has been far more challenging than I had imagined. I have been extremely lucky to have worked with my friend Jaqueline Howard on everything we have done and I really couldn’t have made any of the changes without her.
I’m happy to have had the chance to work with the School of Medicine to benefit my cohort and hope that throughout the year I have made the students feel well represented and that their concerns have been acknowledged."
