Liverpool Med FC success!
Student Doctors prove they are talented on the ward, and on the pitch.
The School of Medicine are proud that another of our student sports teams is experiencing ongoing success! Liverpool Med FC has grown substantially since the beginning of the academic year, to the point where they are regularly hosting over 50 attendees at training sessions.
The team have also been performing exceedingly well in their respective leagues, with the 1st team currently unbeaten at second place in the Campus League Division.
The 2nd and 3rd teams are in the Campus League Division 2, sitting 9th and 7th respectively, and the 6-a-side team are currently 3rd in their 6-a-side Friday League.
This year, the NAMS Competition is being held in London and Liverpool Med FC are hoping to take two teams to compete in the competition, which is particularly exciting, having previously won in 2018.
The School of Medicine are proudly sponsoring the team in this effort, offering support towards the costs of entering the competition. Best of luck LMFC!
