The Wellbeing team organised a fun-filled afternoon of activities to celebrate the end of exams for our final year student doctors, allowing some well-deserved relaxation time.

As students soaked up the sun in the garden, they were treated to ice-cream galore, went head-to-head with giant board games and demonstrated creative flair with pebble painting.

Of course, a true highlight of the afternoon was a visit from two very special guests – therapy dogs Paddy and Ralph – who took time out of their busy schedule at Therapy Dogs Nationwide to visit us.

The Wellbeing team triumphed yet again with their organisation of the event. It was a fantastic turnout overall and a great opportunity for our year five students to relax after their exam period.

Alison Threlfall, Director of MBChB Welfare Services, says, “We were delighted to see so many of our year 5 students enjoying a well-deserved break at our Wellbeing Wonderland event this week. You all work so hard - it's important to remember to take time to relax, chat with friends, do something creative, play and especially eat large ice creams!"

We have so enjoyed supporting Year 5 throughout your time with us and we wish you all the best, health and happiness in your new lives.
