Student Commendations | December 2021

Published on

Five student doctors have an extra gift under the tree as they are recognised for going above and beyond with a commendation this December.

Commendations are just one of the ways we celebrate those who are doing exceptional things in their studies, placements or extra-curricular activities.

Nominating is simple! Show your peers you have noticed their awesomeness by filling out a quick and easy form on the Commendations page (link) of the student intranet.

Celebrating this month

Thomas Reed, nominated by Ms Helen Makay for outstanding engagement, leadership, mentorship and application of learning to operational aspects of healthcare.

Zain Choudhary, nominated by Mr Anup Mathai for outstanding engagement and medical knowledge.

Talia Augustine, Brooklyn Wright and Reuben Veysey-Smith, nominated by Dr Dean Walton for excellent engagement and willingness to learn on Neuro placement.

How to nominate

Commendations recognise our student doctors for activities where they have performed beyond expectations, including clinical skills, research activity, organising activities, helping others, dealing with unexpected events, leadership, and more.
