Dr Mark Buchanan interviews colleague and School alumna Dr Lottie Elliott

We love hearing from School of Medicine alumni, seeing you come back to teach with us, make your mark in the NHS and as educators, or when you just drop us a line on how you are doing! From application, to graduation, and beyond - we are forever part of the same community.

And who better to share your stories with, than a fellow doctor? This month, Dr Mark Buchanan caught up with Trainee in Emergency Medicine and alumna of the School of Medicine, Dr Lottie Elliott.

Dr Buchanan is our Speciality Lead for Emergency Medicine, and together they discusses the twists and turns Dr Elliot has experienced throughout her early career: from missing out on exam grades to changing speciality after graduating.

Watch the interview to hear how resilience has been invaluable throughout Dr Elliot's career, and how the challenges faced along the way have not only shaped her role as a Doctor, but as a person too.
