Little Hearts Matter is the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting and empowering anyone affected by the diagnosis of a single ventricle heart condition – or half a working heart. They cover individuals with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, Tricuspid Atresia, Complex Pulmonary Atresia, Univentricular Heart (Double Inlet or Outlet Ventricle) and various other conditions.

MedEd said "it was a great and unique event and we hope to ramp up and expand the event next year".

The Medical School Women's Football Team took on an incredible task of racking up 2999 miles walking/running/cycling to (virtually) reach Nigeria all in aid of Refugee Women Connect . It really was a cause close to their hearts as they had been inspired by their football sessions with Refugee Women Connect, run by Comfort Etim. Read Comfort's story. Checking out the team's Instagram we can report they have reached £525 and on June 10 were a 1/3 of the way there! You can still donate via the team's Just Giving page.

We'd love an update of where you're up to team - well done!
