Sir Geoffrey Vos, Chancellor of the High Court, gave a speech at the Liverpool Law School on 2nd May 2019 on how English law can boost the confidence of would-be parties to smart legal contracts. In his view, English law is in a good position to provide the legal infrastructure needed to facilitate smart legal contracts, but only if any necessary reforms are kept simple.  The lecture was hosted in conjunction with the Northern Chancery Bar Association.
