The Liverpool School of Architecture will offer a four-month PGCert in Advanced Architecture from January 2027.
This full-time, short course is ideal both for graduates and working professionals who desire to accelerate their architectural design skills, and to gain familiarity with the latest tools and technologies.
Through an adaptable suite of academic, practice-based, and research-focused topics, students will strengthen their design and technical capabilities, and develop specialist knowledge in emerging technologies.
The programme can be tailored to suit differing levels of experience and individual interests, including computational design, artificial intelligence, digital fabrication, robotics, extended reality technologies, sustainable design, building information modelling, environmental assessment, and digital heritage.
Applications are now open for the January 2027 intake. Further information on both the programme and applying can be found on the Advanced Architecture PGCert webpage.
For students wanting a more in-depth education in advanced architectural design – or to develop specialist skills in a particular area – the Advanced Architecture MA is a one year, full-time master’s programme.
Students on the full MA (September intake only) will have the option to choose a pathway in BIM-enhanced design, bio-digital design, computational design and AI, design and digital heritage; or follow a generalist route of study which encompasses all of these specialisms.
