Join us for a panel showcasing the outcomes of the MAKAIM project, supported by the University of Liverpool RDIF grant. This interdisciplinary research explores the convergence of historical musicology, architectural acoustics, and artificial intelligence, focusing on Seljuk-era caravanserais.
The project reconstructs immersive soundscapes through ambisonic recordings, acoustic simulations, and AI-generated compositions, culminating in a virtual reality (VR) experience of historical sonic environments.
The panel will include:
-
Short presentations covering the historical, musical, and technological dimensions of the research
-
A live Q&A session with the team
