Knowledge Exchange and Research Visibility

Knowledge Exchange is part of the University’s ambitious strategy, which defines how the University will be successful within a challenging and changing higher education environment. You will hear the term Knowledge Exchange a lot during your career, but what does it mean? Essentially, it means enabling research and academic challenge to make a difference in the real world, to work with external organisations and communities, and to get maximum value from research. Activities aimed at promoting research are increasingly important. By making your research visible and accessible you increase the chances of your research making an impact.

Researchers are embracing a variety of activities and tools to promote their work, connect with other researchers, and engage with the wider community. This can take place at all stages of the research process: from the discovery stage, through analysis, publishing, and outreach.
