Established in 1894 we were the first University in the UK to award a RIBA accredited degree in Architecture. Ranked third in the 2024/25 Guardian league tables for Architecture and 7th by Times Higher Education, we are one of the UK's premier centres for architectural research and education, and are proud of our long tradition and position in the world of Architecture, both nationally and internationally.

Work is progressing on the Liverpool School of Architecture's new building. Designed by Dublin based architects O’Donnell + Tuomey, the extension is due for completion in 2026. Click here to follow its progress on the live webcam
