International Law Reader lectures at the University of Deusto

Law School International Law Reader Dr Gaetano Pentassuglia was invited to teach a 10-hour course on identity and human rights at the University of Deusto, Institute of Human Rights, Bilbao, Spain, as part of the prestigious European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratization in April 2015. The course was very successful and included students from Sweden, Australia, Brazil, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Colombia, and Spain. The event was fully funded by the European Commission and is part of an evolving research partnership between the University of Liverpool and the University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain. In 2016 the Law School will be expected to host human rights guest lectures by our Deusto colleagues led by Dr Felipe Gomez Isa, professor titular of public international law.
