Entry requirements

Entry requirements for Pre-sessional English courses depend on the English language requirements of your academic programme.

How course length is decided

The course length you need depends on:

  • the English requirement for your degree
  • your current IELTS score or equivalent qualification.

You can find the English requirement for your programme in:

  • your offer letter
  • the course page for your degree.

English language entry profiles

The University uses four English language entry profiles.

Each academic programme is aligned with one of these profiles.

These requirements determine the length of Pre-sessional course you need.
