Accommodation

As well as providing a high standard of language learning, the ELC is proud to work with the university's Accommodation Team to deliver high quality accommodation for our students.

When you make your application for a Pre-sessional English CourseActivate English or a Tailor-made Solution course, including Teacher training, you are welcome to apply for a range of suitable accommodation.

All of our accommodation options offer private single occupancy bedrooms with either single or double beds.  Residences are on or close to our campus and its many facilities, which include a large sports centre, restaurants and bars. This also means you will be within walking distance of your classrooms.  Residences offer private space to study or to relax, and support in case you have any issues.

You will be invited to apply for University accommodation only once you have confirmed that you would like to accept your offer for the Pre-sessional Course and received your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

Please note that the English Language Centre staff are unable to offer specific advice on accommodation.  If you have any questions about accommodation, you should contact our Accommodation Team who can help you with all accommodation related queries. They can be contacted via email at accommodation@liverpool.ac.uk or further information can be found on the Accommodation webpage.

If you are under 18 when you start your course at the English Language Centre you will need to arrange to live with a responsible adult. This can be either in home stay accommodation with a British family, by applying through a British Council registered accommodation agency, or with a UK Guardian who must be a family member or family friend who is well-established in the UK. The arrangements you have made will need to be approved by your parents and by the University. Please tell us about the arrangements you have made by filling in this form and sending it with your application: Accommodation Declaration Form.

Applicants hoping to bring their families with them to Liverpool should contact Liverpool Student Homes on lsh@liverpool.ac.uk.
