Accommodation
The English Language Centre works closely with the University's Accommodation Team to deliver quality accommodation for our students.
When you make your application for a Pre-sessional English course, you can apply for a range of suitable accommodation.
All of our accommodation options offer private single occupancy bedrooms with either single or double beds. Residences are on campus or nearby its many facilities, which include a large Sports Centre, libraries, restaurants and bars. This also means you'll be within walking distance of your classrooms. Residences offer a private space to study or relax, and support in case you have any issues.
For Pre-sessional English students
You'll be invited to apply for University accommodation once you have confirmed that you would like to accept your offer for the Pre-sessional course and received your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
Please note that the English Language Centre staff cannot offer specific advice on accommodation. If you have any questions about accommodation, you should contact our Accommodation Team who can help you with your queries. You can email them at accommodation@liverpool.ac.uk and you can find further information on our Accommodation web page.
If you're under 18 when you start your course at the English Language Centre, you will need to complete our online 'Parental Consent, Accommodation and Guardianship Arrangements for Under 18s Form'.
This process is managed by the University's International Advice and Guidance Team. Full details, forms, and who to contact can be found on our information for under 18s webpage.
Applicants hoping to bring their families to Liverpool, or considering staying in private accommodation, should speak to Liverpool Student Homes on lsh@liverpool.ac.uk to ensure they enter into a contract with a reputable, University of Liverpool accredited landlord.
