Resources for teachers

Geology and Geophysics teachers in Liverpool School of Environmental Sciences have a long history of producing highly-valued open-access web-based teaching resources, all available from the Geological Open Access Educational Resources site (click the GEO-OER link on the right on this page)

Resources include lots of material that teachers and academics will find useful, such as standalone/ self-assessment modules, PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, videos, photographs and a list of links to other useful educational sites.

These teaching resources have been developed for use at different levels and include materials suitable for:

  • Undergraduates,
  • ‘A’ Level students (Year 12 and 13 students) and
  • GCSE students (Year 10 and 11 students).

All the Geological Open Access Educational Resources site material may be freely used for educational purposes by individuals or institutions.
