How to apply for English classes
If you are interested in joining the English classes for refugees and asylum seekers, you can apply by completing the Language Support Enquiry Form. This form helps the English Language Centre understand your situation and check whether the classes are suitable for you.
Apply now
To apply, complete the ELC Language Support Enquiry Form.
What happens after you apply
After you submit the form:
- The English Language Centre team will review your enquiry.
- We may contact you to ask a few questions about your English level.
- We will ask you to show proof of your visa status. This must be an official document, such as a UKVI letter or your e-visa. It must clearly show that you are a refugee, an asylum seeker, or part of a Ukraine scheme. We need this to check that you are eligible for the classes.
- We will explain the next steps and let you know when classes are available.
Places in the classes are limited, so there may sometimes be a waiting list.
