Statement on research ethics and open research
The Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology is committed to ensuring that all its research is conducted in an ethical manner and that its outputs are accessible, transparent and reproducible for the benefit of the public and the global academic and research community.
Our practice is fully aligned with the University of Liverpool's Research Ethics policies and guidance, including its Research Data Management Policy, ensuring compliance with relevant funder and publisher policies, and supports the Concordat on Open Research Data and UKRI's Common Principles on Research Data. The Department supports all its members to make the data associated with their publications Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (F.A.I.R) where possible, subject to ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
