Meet Lean
Law LLB, Malaysia
"Studying law at the University of Liverpool is an enriching experience. It has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of legal principles and a global perspective of the law. It allows me to engage with the broader world of law through activities like participating in Moot Court, where we simulate a legal argument, in a court environment. This has really helped me to refine my advocacy skills and encouraged me to scrutinise opposing viewpoints. One of the best things here is the support system for International students. Lecturers here are intelligent and very helpful, I’m so glad to have an academic advisor who is very caring towards his students."

"Being a city full of history and culture and a top UK study destination, Liverpool brings students from diverse cultures and ethnicities together from around the globe, and this provides me with a truly international experience. The energy that you see everywhere here encourages students to engage in many activities and this inspires and motivates me to do my very best. I feel empowered to broaden my perspectives, acquire more knowledge and utilise my skills to the fullest. I am sure being part of this exciting global community will help me secure a good career."
Meet Will
Marketing BA, USA
"I am planning to go into sports marketing and either work for a football team or a marketing agency that focuses on that industry. This city and country will help me to achieve this. My course allows me to meet new people during group projects and connect with fellow students and teachers that have similar goals, which essentially adds value to my network and achieving a job in the future. I absolutely love football and in my free time I have joined the University futsal team which has been a great experience and a tool to immerse myself into the British culture. I also love running and exploring the city, my favourite places in Liverpool are the docks and of course the beautiful Anfield stadium."
Meet Mohammed
Geography BSc, Oman
"I am passionate about my course, we’ve just returned from a week away in Lorca, Spain to gain a better understanding of international geography. In my first year we visited the beautiful North Wales and Lake District and these field trips make my course even more enjoyable. I like living in a major city with lots happening every week. Having lived in small cities my entire life the change of atmosphere here really stands out to me and I love the diversity and opportunity to be whoever you want. Studying here has allowed me to see things from different perspectives, it’s opened my mind and I believe the connections I’ve made will really help me in my career."
Meet Celine
Evolutionary Anthropology BA, Norway
"I thoroughly enjoy the range of topics on my course, studying human evolution is fascinating! I’m also very thankful for all the friendships I have developed. I wouldn’t have met so many people and learned so much about different cultures if I’d stayed in my home country. My time in Liverpool has improved my skills tremendously! I am a lot more comfortable speaking in different languages in front of people and expressing myself to others. My concentration, team working skills, critical analysis, creativity and understanding of human behaviour have all developed, which will be useful in any job, in any field in the future!"
Meet Daniel

"What I enjoy most about my course and the University, is the level of diversity of people you meet in your lectures and across campus, and how friendly the whole environment is. You get to meet people of different backgrounds, beliefs, race, and interests which has helped me to expand my thinking, make new friends and consider new ideas. Meeting and interacting with lots of new people has made my time here more enjoyable and dramatically improved my network, which will also help me in the future after graduation."
