IP, commercialisation and translation of clinical research

Developing new products or technologies can be a rewarding though sometimes challenging process. The University’s specialist Intellectual Property and Commercialisation team is in place to help academics.

Offering expertise and guidance for all stages of the process, they can advise on such matter as Confidentiality Agreementspolicies and available funding, events and training.

It is advised that anyone looking to commercialise their research outputs draw on this in-house expertise from an early stage.  Further information on the process, example IP cases and successes will be useful reference material when outlining your plans.
