Education Directorate

The mission of the Education directorate is to help staff in our institutes to delivery the very highest educational experience for all undergraduate and postgraduate students, through technology-enabled delivery, staff training, and pedagogy-informed teaching.

Our Mission

The Education Directorate works with the institutes of the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences to enable excellent teaching delivery and learner experience.  Engagement of research active staff in curriculum development ensures that learning and teaching are of the highest quality and connected to the international quality research programme at Liverpool. Best practice teaching methods supported by cutting edge technology, ensures consistent delivery, that meets learners' needs.

Situated with the Education Directorate are the Centre for Educational Development and Support (CEDS), the Human Anatomy Resource Centre and the Faculty Student Experience Management Team. We all work as part of a cross-Faculty team that maintains and develops specialist education expertise and delivers added value to the student experience at Liverpool.
