Welcome to University of Liverpool accommodation. We hope that you have settled into your new home and University life.

We want you to enjoy you time with us and for you to feel safe and comfortable. To ensure that we comply with legislation and to ensure your safety and security we have in place policies and procedures that our residents should be aware of and comply with.

Due to the diverse nature of our residences each Hall or Student Village has produced a site specific document which will include details of Fire Evacuation procedures and other safety and security measures as well as contact details for Halls staff. We have a range of new and older buildings with very different procedures in some cases.

This generic Handbook will detail policies and procedures which relate to all Halls of Residence. It should be read in conjunction with your Tenancy Agreement and with the site specific Handbooks for each hall.

Hall Managers

Each hall or group of halls has a dedicated team of staff headed by the Hall Manager. The Hall Manager has day to day responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the residence.
