Liverpool Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies
Welcome to the Liverpool Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (LCMRS).
We are a hub for interdisciplinary study and research of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance in Europe and beyond from c.300 to c.1700. The Centre includes scholars from several disciplines and academic institutions and heritage organisations across the North West of England.
Through the University of Liverpool we offer taught MA courses as well as supervision for doctoral and postdoctoral research students within a broad chronological and geographical range - roughly from c.300-1700AD, and including England, Wales, continental Europe, the Near East, and North Africa.
Please see our MA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies page for more information.
See our events listings for upcoming events, from talks and lectures to Viking re-enactments!
