Yangxu Shen
Investigating L2 willingness to communicate and classroom talk: A longitudinal perspective
Yangxu Shen is a PhD student in the Department of English at the University of Liverpool (UoL), pursuing her research in collaboration with the Department of Applied Linguistics at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). Her ongoing doctoral project investigates the dynamics of L2 Willingness to Communicate (WTC) in classroom settings through the theoretical lens of Complex Dynamic Systems Theory (CDST). She is interested in individual differences (IDs) in second/foreign language learning, psychology of language learning, and applied linguistics research methodologies.
