The English Department is proud to report that our very own Dr James Bainbridge spoke at a national event last week about his work both as a Lecturer in English Literature and as the new Director of Go Higher: the University of Liverpool’s access programme for mature students without traditional qualifications. The event, organized by the English Association, celebrated best practice within the field of Widening Participation, which is at the heart of the Go Higher mission and a core priority for the English Department.
