Research involving animals At Liverpool, we are committed to reducing the number of animal models used in research and that procedures and standards of care are refined to maximise welfare. Responsible research assessment The University of Liverpool is a signatory to the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) which outlines several recommendations on how to improve research assessment.
