Our location within one of the world’s most famous maritime cities, combined with a history of innovation that spans life changing discoveries and partnerships, means that we are well-placed to tackle global challenges affecting our city region, as well as further from home.
The interdisciplinary research of the ICSR is part of the University's Strategy 2031 goals, and focuses on tackling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our initial focus was on climate-related SDGs, with focus now shifted to SDGs related to reducing inequalities. Our work is supported by the University of Liverpool's expertise in digital innovation and solutions.
